Frequently asked questions
Booking, payments, payouts, reviews, and going live — answered.
How does booking work?+
Browse talent, open a profile, pick your date and event details. Some talent accept instant bookings; others review your request and send a custom quote first. Either way, you pay securely through Vibest and get an email confirmation.
Why was only part of my card charged, and what is the hold?+
For instant bookings you pay a 20% deposit now, and the remaining 80% is authorized (held) on your card — it is only charged once the talent confirms your date and terms. If they do not confirm within 7 days, the booking is cancelled and your deposit refunded. For quotes, you pay in full once you accept.
When and how do talent get paid?+
Payments are held securely by Vibest and released to the talent after the event is complete. Talent receive 90% of the booking total; Vibest keeps a 10% platform fee. Stripe then pays out to the talent’s bank on its normal schedule.
What fees does Vibest charge?+
Vibest takes a 10% platform fee on each booking. There are no hidden charges — the price you see at checkout is what you pay.
Can I cancel or get a refund?+
If a booking is cancelled before the talent has been paid out, you are refunded any amount the platform is still holding. Instant bookings that a talent does not confirm within 7 days are cancelled automatically and the deposit refunded. For anything else, contact support.
How do I know a talent is actually available?+
Talent can block out dates manually and connect their Google, Apple, or Outlook calendar so their busy times sync automatically. Dates that are unavailable are greyed out on their booking calendar.
How do I leave a review?+
You can review a talent once your event is complete — a review form appears on their profile, and verified reviews are marked with a badge.
How do I become a talent?+
Click “For talent”, set up your profile, upload work samples, and connect your bank for payouts via Stripe. Your listing goes live right away.
How do I take a business or event offline?+
Deactivate it. For a business, go to Account → Your businesses (or the business dashboard → Settings) and choose Deactivate — it’s hidden from the marketplace and search but keeps all its bookings and history, and you can Reactivate it anytime. For an event/experience, open it from your dashboard’s Experiences tab and choose Deactivate; it’s hidden from your public page and can be reactivated later.
Can I permanently delete a business or event?+
Yes, but only if it has no history. A business with no bookings or sold event tickets can be deleted from Account → Your businesses or the dashboard’s Settings tab; an event with no ticket sales can be deleted from its editor. Once a business has bookings, or an event has sold tickets, it can no longer be deleted — deactivate it instead, so payment and booking records stay intact. Deleting is permanent and can’t be undone.
